Epoxy Flooring in Camp Verde, AZ

Camp Verde has grown steadily over the past couple decades, and that growth shows up in the concrete. Some garages here are a few years old. Others have been sitting uncoated since the 1980s.

That mix matters more than it sounds like. A newer slab, properly cured and crack-free, often goes straight to coating with light grinding and a base/topcoat system. An older slab might need crack repair, releveling, or a moisture check first, depending on how it was poured and what’s happened to it since.

We can’t quote either one accurately over the phone. Camp Verde’s housing stock is varied enough that an on-site look at the actual slab is worth more here than a square-footage number alone.

Prescott Valley Epoxy Pros scopes every Camp Verde job around the condition of the slab in front of us, not a one-size estimate. For newer construction, that usually means diamond grinding to open the surface, a two-part epoxy base coat, and a polyaspartic or polyurea topcoat depending on how the garage gets used. For older concrete, we’re more often adding crack repair or self-leveling underlayment ahead of the coating itself, which changes both the cost and the timeline a bit.

We see the full range of residential jobs in town: garage floor coatings, flake systems for workshops and converted spaces, patio sealing, and crack repair on slabs that have shifted over the years. Camp Verde sits at a lower elevation than Prescott Valley. That means warmer install windows most of the year. We still plan around the cooler winter stretches when cure times run longer no matter what coating system goes down.

Dewey-Humboldt and Cottonwood are both close by and part of our regular service area as well, though each has its own slab quirks worth a separate look.

Garages with original, uncoated concrete tend to need the most prep: grinding to remove years of tire residue and surface contamination, plus a careful crack check before anything gets rolled on. Newer builds in the growing parts of town are usually a more straightforward job, sometimes done in a day or two start to finish.

Monsoon season brings sudden, heavy rain through the valley most summers, and that moisture finds its way into unsealed garage slabs fast. A slab that’s taken on water over the years often needs a vapor check before any coating goes down. We flag that during the walkthrough instead of assuming the slab is dry.

Camp Verde’s older neighborhoods near the historic town center tend to have narrower garages and thinner original pours than the newer builds off Highway 260. That changes how we approach leveling and crack repair. A 1980s slab settles differently than one poured in the last ten years, and the coating system has to account for that.
